I have another thought or questions...I have actually just begun my battle. Sent them all the letter and filed with my state's ag. Should I just sit and wait or should I be emailing them asking for responses...or emailing the letter...I haven't heard much from any of them. I or 2 messages...and someone calls while I am at work but doesn't leave a message. It's been too quite and that worries me!!!! LOL...

I will first inquire with the AG since they will be nice to answer any of the questions about the investigations. Besides, you will know for sure the exact situation before you call the loan companies. If they try to make fake stories saying that they haven't received any correspondence from the AG, you will be able to fight back strongly.

I have been battling mine for 6 months now. I have sent numerous letters and emails and only one company has responded. I think the more contact you have with them, the more they harrass you. Once the AG lets them know that you have filed complaints, they tend to go away. I have not heard from any of mine in a few months!

My AG here has been fighting these people for over two years. It takes a long time folks. There has to be legal documents filed with the courts and it is a lenghty process. I would have to get an exact count but it is something like 21 or 22 companies that have went down and had to give refunds to consumers. So the legal process does work. KYSIDE38

It does take a while to get some reponses, but eventually you will hear back. In my case I just kept e-mailing the pdls that I had over paid with the amounts and dates of every transaction and I cc'c my ag's office everytime. I also cc'd the pdls everytime that I filed a complaint with any government agency that I could think of.
