500 fast cash just called and threatened to file a negative report on my credit as a refuse to pay, but thats not true i offered to pay my pricipal of 350 and a NSF fee of 25 to give me an address to send payment but they said no i asked for western union and they said no that they wanted my card info.. I said no and he said ok good bye... I also told him that i knew that they were not licensed in california and he said they were not based in CA that they did not need a license but i read that any payday lender needs a license to operate in CA is that correct?? Please help me Im scared im just building my credit back from a bankruptcy again:-|

Yes, it is absolutely necessary for the payday lenders to obtain license in California to operate legally. You have done the right thing by not giving out your card info to them. Illegal lenders can't report to your credit report, so obviously they were trying scare tactics on you.
Even if 500 cash reports it to the CRAs, you can have it removed by disputing with the bureaus.
Just make sure that they are not operating as CSO in your state, which would make them legal even without license. The CSOs would be registered with the Secretary of State's office.

anything debited you take off of the 350.00 so you may not even owe 350.00.

no nothing debited i closedthe account before anypayments because another lender was taking money without permission so now they want 600 i said all i would par is the principle of 350 and 1 NSF for 25 so a total of 375 to give me an address of where to send the payment and he did not want too.

if they do put a negative mark on your credit report, dispute it asap.
demand a physical address to mail a money order to when you pay back the principal. this can be paid back on your terms.

i tried calling and looking up in the sec of state web page what am i looking for... do you know if 500 fast cash and US fast cash are the same company because i have an outstandin loan with them also for the same amount but they have'nt tried calling me @ home or at work and i followed the advise given to me @ this website with paydaymax and credit protection depot and they never called me again i called them to ask them about my ballance and they said what balance that my account had been closed a long time a go i borrowed 900 and never paid back a dime I HOPE YOU CAN HELP ME AGAIN THIS TIME thanks in advance

Here's the deal. Do not ever - EVER - take out a payday loan. I have and have paid dearly for it as well have dealt with all the consequences. If you do fall prey to predatory lending as I did - then prepare to be called repeatedly - treated poorly - have your personal information put at risk to others of the same type and also be prepared to receive any number of phone calls from scammers around the globe. 500 fast cash has worked with me to resolve outstanding issues albeit that you will end up paying 2 to 3 times your original loan amount - but that indeed is my point - this is what you get with a payday loan - it's hell - it sucks - don't do it - if you do your just asking for more trouble than you would ever deserve. Once again 500 fast cash did help to resolve. As painful as it was including the cost - they were available by phone and otherwise to settle. I don't like it, but I was the one who stepped in it and got exactly what I had coming. Never again. Never again another pay day loan. I'd rather slam my $#&$ in a door.
