I wanted to share with everyone the email I just received from a gentleman in the Iowa Dept. of Banking regarding Payday Loan Yes and Fast Cash.
Payday Loan Yes does not list an address on their website, but Fast Cash does. They are part of the same company and sister companies. If you check their fax numbers, they are very much the same.
Anyway, here's the info I received from the state of Iowa which is the state they are allegedly located in according to the address listed on the Fast Cash website.
Dear Karen:
Thank you for your email regarding an online payday lender.
Fast Cash Advance is not a licensee of the Iowa Division of Banking. I do not believe the address is legitimate. I could not find the address using search tools and I have not heard of such a street in the 26 years I have lived in Des Moines . The ZIP is for Des Moines ; however, I do not think it is one used for street addresses, but for a high volume mail recipient – something like all the payments for the local power company are directed to 50307.
I called the telephone numbers listed on their webpage, but they were answered by machine as “Payday Loan Yes.†I waited on hold, but never got anyone to pick up the call.
For these reasons, I am very concerned that this company is not a lender of any sort and they are probably not located in Des Moines . They may just be a shell for bad actors to collect your personal information.

Just because they have the same address or phone number doesn't mean the companies are the same. Many places use a "mail drop" or processing call center.

I had a loan with Payday Loan Yes and I paid them in full and I got an email the other day offering me a settlement! I emailed them back saying I already paid you in full, haven't heard anything back from them! Shaddy much!

I guess I should say that payday loan yes their check came through my bank as First National Services which is a real company but not involved with payday loan yes at all, I called First National and they told me that they have been getting tons of calls about checks and they are not involved with the payday loan yes company!!
