Well I'm off on the journey of trying to get all the address' for all the PDL's I have and send out some letters. And to get my financial freedom back again!!!!!
I get the feeling that this is gonna be a long journey!!!

litlee, remember, there is always light at the end of the tunnel. Sometimes, the time taken to cover the way maybe longer but you will definitely see the end.. Just stick to your goal.

Oh trust me BKP I am sticking to my goal! I just want this all over and done with. I made a HUGE mistake but it will be corrected in the end!

And for my kids! My son is so mad at me for doing that, but he does understand that they did put food in his stomach and help with other things.

This can be turned into a good thing - You can show your son that even when things look very dismal, there is always a way out! You can make him proud by doing right, and clawing your way out from under these payday loans!

I know exactly how that feels, my son is 17 and could not understand how we could get ourselves into such a mess. I just explained to him that up until this point he never was even talked to about our finances and that there were lots of things he still didn't know yet, but, my kid is 17.... so, he got an earful for being judgmental.

bflow....I have been a single mom for about 18 years...my kids were just 8 and 4 when I struck out on my own. Fianancially it has always been difficult to raise the kids one just my salary and what little support I got. As they got older we had issues like that too...finally I think they were about 12 & 16, I stopped feeling guilty and sat them down and showed them where our money went...rent, food, etc...so that they understood how life went and how important it was to keep things straight...they were much better and more understanding after that.

Since this all started I have talked to each of them, I have three children, all old enough now to know how finances work and how NOT to make the same mistakes we make. We feel so guilty that we barely make it from paycheck to paycheck since this mess started and can't afford much for them right now. But it'll get better as we get farther out of this mess.
