when the pdl companies call me, do i really need to call them back? i have closed my bank account. i have 3 internet pdls and i live in the state of fl. i have found out none of these companies have license to do business in the state of fl. through the fees, i have paid all of them back except for one and i only owe them 30.00. can i just ignore them or do i need to talk to them and let them know that i know they are not licensed?

Think Cash is a servicing company for First Bank of Delaware. Under federal law banks don't need to be licensed in the borrower's state. They can make loans anywhere and only need to follow FDIC rules and the laws of their home state. Since the FDIC forced banks to stop making payday loans, this is why First Bank makes installment loans instead.
