Hi,
I hope someone here can help me.
I have read many of the threads and took the first step.
I closed my bank account. I have a loan with Mycashnow and live in Maryland. Shazzers has helped in the past. I owe them $321 dollars on a $640 loan that I have already paid $1123 on. I also spoke with the Maryland Commission of Financial Regulation and they confirmed Mycashnow is illegal in Maryland.
I emailed them a C&D letter, to Support[at]mycashnow.com but it came back undeliverable. Does anyone have a good email address for these slimeballs? They were going to try and debit my account today, so tomorrow they will learn that they got nothing.
How soon should I expect the phone calls to start? There website gives no email addresses or physical address that I can send them a letter.
Thanks

as for the calls some places start right away others wait a week or so.. some email you for a few weeks than call. it depends on the company, i am sorry to say. just stay prepared and know your rights and laws and you will be okay

Received my first email today from CPDcustomerservice@creditprotectiondepot.com telling me I need to call them because they could not debit my account. As I mentioned earlier, could not find an email address to sent my C&D letter. I found a fax but dont know if it was any good.
So when I got the email from the above address I immediately sent my C&D letter and of course it came back undeliverable.
Any advice? Again I live in Maryland where PDL's are illegal. I have paid over $1000's on a $640 loan which they claim I still owe $321.
