I have loans with the following companies. I live in Illinois. Does anyone know if these lenders are legal in Illinois?

1. PayDayOne(I think this one is legal and licensed)
2. GECC-Cash Direct Express (If anyone has a physical address)
3. 500FastCash
4. USFastCash
5. PaydayMax
6. Discount Advances
7. Platinum Cash
8. M1YProcessing
9. StarCash Processing (If anyone has a physical address)

Thanks for all your help

PayDayOne is legal, you are correct about that. The only one I'm not sure about is Platinum Cash, the rest of them aren't licensed.

No problem, are you still paying on these loans. Have you done anything as far as your bank account?

I closed out my old account and started a new one at a different bank. I have started contacting the companies requesting no contact by phone or at work. I am working on my own budget so I can legitimately make good offers to them. I am also looking in to the ones I feel overcharged me interest and will begin to contact them about a settlement offer. This is a slow, time consuming process but I am beginning to see light at the end of the tunnel.

You are right but it will get better. I can tell you I've dealt with Paydayone, usfastcash and starcashprocessing. Paydayone was pretty easy to deal with and accepted reasonable payment arrangements. USFastcash didn't really harass me, but they tried to pass a generic computer generated check through my account..but it was blocked. Starcash just called me two three times day and sent me numerious of emails with crazy settlement offers way over what I even borrowed.

Just been in contact with Paydayone and they have agreed not to call at work. Also star is offering something way over my loan so I will keep at it. Thanks for your support PinkLady I will keep in touch with my battle and hope to provide encouragement to others.

You will probably start getting emails from Starcash telling you to click on a link where you can log in and make payment arrangements. I never did it because the amount they claimed I owed was way off.

Were you able to set up a payment arrangement with paydayone?

This just gets more confusing. Closed my old bank account last Friday but apparently all of my ACH went through. Some were paid by bank and some returned. So now I have to refigure what I owe these companies plus I owe my old bank $306. This is a nightmare. I am just so glad for this forum because I have no one else to talk to. Even my husband doesn't want to hear it. Ignoring problems is his way. Thanks for listening. I am going to try and call PayDayOne sometime today. I sent revoke ACH letters and emails so hopefully there will be no more activity on my old bank account.
