I really need to dig us out of a hole- I put us in. I dont know even know where to start. This is where we stand:
I owe aug and sept house payment 811.00 each month
I owe aug and sept car payment 350.00 each month

I owe geneva roth 2 more payments of 300 some odd dollars

My one bank account is overdrawn by 1100 b/c they kept allowing loanpoint take money out of my account- and would not close it until I pay the balance.

We are down to one paycheck a week (600.00 a week)- I left my job back in may to continue going to school and b/c daycare was killing us and it was not worth me working - and then my husband got sick in june w/ a perferated appendix. We fell behind on bills big time and I dont know what do to get caught back up. Our credit is horrible so a loan is out of the question. Does anyone have any suggestions????

I can't sleep at night because I can't seem to get this all out of my head.....

You need to put a hard debit block on your bank account so that the PDLs can't continue to take money out.

Have you tried calling your lenders to tell them about your hardship and to see if they will work any payment arrangements out with you?

Good advice alias, also you should register as a member of the community as that entitles you to a free debt consult if you wish. There are alot of us on here that have money problems and know exactly where you are coming from so don't feel alone. We are all here to help each other so post any questions that you have and we will assist you.

Welcome momskids - The advice already given is good advice. I always feel it is better to contact your lenders before it gets to be a mess. They may be willing to help you out.

I know right now it feels hopeless but if you take action now it will only get better. I would say your very first priorities are your house and putting a block on your account. Your bank may allow you to pay only the interest for now. I know people that have done this. Give it a try.

This site is a great place to come and get advice but we also are good at listening and understanding. Most of us are/were where you are. And believe me when I say, you are not the only one in this situation.

Keep us posted to let us know how you are doing.

Who do I start with? I found one company in Florida that might be able to help with debt management, but I'm unsure if that's where I should go with my debt. Any thoughts?
