Geneva Roth and utah laws

Regarding Geneva Roth (Loan Point USA) I know they are licensed in Utah and I am in Tennessee. That being said I have to follow the Utah laws for PDLs, Right? I have had this loan since December 2007 and the Utah law states that the loan can not extend more than 12 weeks so basically they are not following the law. I have paid them 1620.00 in fees and none of the principal has been touched. Do I owe them any more money?

MJ - when your 2 weeks are up, do you just pay the fee or do they require you to pay the full amount plus fee and then reloan to you?

If they do the latter, then they are bypassing the 12 week extension requirement and in essence, it is a whole new loan. OUCH! $1620 in fees. Let's see what we can do here to help you.

ANYBODY???

I am dealing with them. Did you close your bank account? I know some states prohibit this but maybe at least put a block on it?
These people are horrible. I reported them to my state's (and their state's) attorney general, the FTC and BBB. I am trying to find out who their ACH processor is, as well. they keep stating I have to pay these fees, and they;re not even legal in my state! I'm no expert but it seems to be you have really over-paid!

I am in Tennessee. I borrowed 30o and every 2 weeks they take just the 90 dollar fee. It has been way over 12 weeks.

Also, I tried faxing in the form they e-mailed me when I first got the loan to pay it off (The only form I have gotten since) and checked pay in full. They STILL only took the finance charges and by the time I realized what was going on I was taken for 3 payments of 90 dollars and did not have the money to pay it off. So here I am with this monkey on my back.
