I am the receptionist at my work and I someone just called to verify employment, I referred them to our corporate office (protocal) but recognized the number, so I looked it up and it was Geneva Roth/Loan Point, I'm guessing they are looking for me, since they didn't get their money because I closed my checking account. What do you think they are up to?

it could be one of two things.
1)they could be trying to get your bank info this way or
2)they could attempt at a wage assignment.
if you sent them and your HR a revocation letter for any
wage assignments i wouldn't worry, but make sure they are aware of this company.

I thought that they may be trying to do wage garnishment, but how would they access my bank info? I'll send my Payroll dept the letter I sent them... I sent them the "everything" letter from this site, the ACH Revocation, Wage Revocation, C & D, etc...
thanks!

With a wage assignment, they wouldn't need to access your bank info since they would be getting it straight from your employer. Since you've revoked it, that is a dead end for them. However, I have seen recent posts here where PDL lenders have managed to track down new bank account info and pull form the consumers account. Did you open the new acct at a different bank?
