Welcome to the forum Nicole. When you say get rid of what do you mean? Are you asking the best way to pay them off with a payment arrangement or do you mean to get them off of your credit report. I'm not exactly sure what you're asking. I'm sure there will be others around that can also help you.

Shocked
Payday loans are great becuase they are not meant to be long term and are meant to help people in need. So I hope you don't want to get rid of option for consumers, like me.

When you say "get rid of" I hope you mean "pay off" so you don't have to worry about them later on.

Depending on your situation, contact each agency and work out monthly payments. There are also some companies that can consolidate PDLs as well, but it's generally best to work with each of them directly.

Let us know if you need any more advice!

Hello and welcome, if you would be so kind to list each of the pdl's you owe [names], whether they are Internet or store front, the state you reside, how much you have borrowed, and how much you have paid so far, we will be able to help you better. Smile

I would but I do not remember them for some of them are from a long time ago and I have yet to see anything via mail or on my credit report.

How long ago are you talking? Do you still bank at the bank where your account was located? If so contact them to see if they have information on them. Are these internet pdl's or storefronts?

I do not bank at the same banks and I believe that they are internet pdl's I had paid off the only store one that I had.

I am curious as to what is leading you to pay these off after such a long time? I am not saying not to by any means, I am just curious? Are you concerned that they will appear on your credit report. And how sure are you that you still owe them any money?

What state do you live in? Someone can look up the state laws for your state and let you know if internet pdl's are even legal in your state.

I was just wondering and maybe after sending a DV letter I will be able to figure who it is exactly that is trying to contact me. I had a collector go so far as to contact my aunts (by marraige) parents that live in seatle and I live in Texas. They don't even have the same last name as me and never did. They are not on my credit report.

I have a payday loan company that I had gotten over then internet contacting me saying that the only way to set up payment arrangemtents is over the phone. They "said" they will not do anything via fax and e-mail. I only told them that so that I would be able to have a hard copy of the payment arrangement for my self. What should I do?

Whatever you do don't give them your new bank account information. If you have to tell them you no longer have a bank account and insist they give you an address so that you can send a money order.

I keeping on telling them the same information and asking the same questions like what arrangemeants I can make and so forth and what is their address but they keep on telling me that I have to call so just recently I told them that IO will not give out any sort of banking information and that this is the only way that I am willing to settle this and yet they choose not to work with me or give any sort of different answer.
