Hi All...it has been awhile since I have been on this site. I came to this site about 6 months ago and with everyone's help, have been fighting pdls. I hadn't heard from gfs in awhile, but they started leaving messages on my phone everyday for the past two weeks. Now I get an email saying the last pmt of $55 was returned because my bank account was closed. Well, duh. It's been closed for months because of pdls. I sent them a reply stating that it will remain closed and they will not be getting anymore money from me. I have paid their account in full. It just seems that although they go away for awhile, they never completely go away.

That is exactly the way they operate. One will fail and then another pick up and tries again. I have to find the post of my last conversation with them. They were called route66 but its the same bunch of clowns. They will just go away again. Do not engage them or they think they have a shot at you like the people in school that would not leave you alone if you talked to them.

Here it is. If I ever had a classic post I think this would be it!
Just when I thought they were gone for good some guy named Sabi called me and after several hang ups finally managed to get to my voice mail. Said I was escalated to the legal dept. Then he called back and I decided to answer. I told him I was not paying him another dime and their was not a thing he could do about it and to crawl back into the cave he came from. He argued with me and got nowhere so he asked if I would like to speak to his supervisor. "OK."
"My name is Nigel can I help you." he sounded just like Sabi.
"Yeah, you can help me by going away." I replied.
"You owe us money, we are not going away"
"I do not owe you anything! I am not paying you so don't waste your time!"
"Yes you do. You are in serious legal trouble."
"Bullsh_t!" I have paid you more than the law allows you to collect."
"You are ruled by the laws of the UK."
"Don't make me laugh."
"How do you plan on taking care of this?" he demanded.
"Like this." Click.
Never heard from them again. That was Friday.
Today I got that stupid email that my payment was returned and perhaps it was a mistake signed by Chris Something the ficticious collection guy.
What a bunch of clowns. Under the rules of the UK. Give me a break!

There was one that told me that only international law applies to them...so for fun I asked "which one?" silence and then they hung up.

They call me constantly..the bad thing is, I can't understand the messages on my cell and their number does not come up. I couldn't even call back if I want to ...and I don't

I did tell them in my email today that since they are part of the UK I assumed they understood english but apparently not, because I have been sending them the same info. for months.

They just responded back to my email a few minutes ago. They said that they had been trying to reach me by telephone and gave me a number to call. I just told them in my email not to call. I think they just respond when they see an email....I doubt they even open it or read it. It is always sent by Chris Wilson. That fellow must be the hardest worker in the place  )

I took a page from Cannr with GFSIL...same company...they of course never answered the BBB but my AG office did get a response that if I would contact them they would be glad to work something out with me to both our satisfaction. So the AG office asked me to contact them for resolution..I wrote them an email stating what they said to the AG..and sugesting they contact me with a PIF as that was the only resolution I wanted...and if they did that I would drop the fight for a refund...thy never responded so I sent it again, and again...in the sunbject line I always put AG response #1,2,3...yup...I am up to 10...I send 2x a week...it is never retunred but I never get a response...LOL.

Oh yes...they tried that tactic for awhile. I complained to the BBB about them. So, for about a month everytime they would call they would leave a voice message that they were responding to my complaint to the BBB. They didn't respond to the BBB. So, I wasn't going to discuss it with them. They thought I would call if they used that message. They gave up on it after awhile.

Do they still make you say your name and "yes" to all the questions they ask when you get a loan from them? Ugh, I dealt with ICS and interim..same crap! I think ICS is defunct now//They are robbing people under a different name.

Aahhh...GFS. My favorite of all! I have at least gotten them to stop calling me. I receive email from them once or twice a week...I think they just copy and paste they're emails, because it always refers to the same crap. "We have listened to the recording..." Yeah, I know! I don't care what the recording says...you cannot be held only to "UK Law." So, I always reply to them that they WILL NOT receive any more money from me....=0) It has gotten rather comical...maybe one day they'll blow up or something....=0)
