I have a pdl loan with GFS that I took out in Dec for $200 as of 4/11 I paid them $455. I spoke to them today and told them I was reporting them to my states Attorney General (NJ) and that my account was and should be marked paid in full. They argued with me and told me they were forwarding my account to their collection department. Can they garnish my wages? and does anyone have an email address for them GFS?

No they cannot and let me give you a hint: ALSO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE FTC! These jerks are about to be in some big trouble with the States. In fact, that reminds me. i have to return the phone call to the FTC!

I have responded to them at two email sites.
payment(at)gfsil.com
returns(at)gfsil.com
However, I wouldn't expect them to respond back. My only responses from them have been that they didn't receive my payment. I haven't heard from them in awhile and hope it stays that way.
