Welcome to the Community Here is a link for a phone number and fax I found at http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...bout16466.html Be careful dealing with them, from what I have read, they seem to be pretty shady..Karen I deleted your duplicate posts for you..

GFSIL is affiliated with Route 66 Funding. They have their business operating from the UK. They are many complaints against them about their violations done in the US. Do you have a loan with them? How much have you paid on the principal? Since they don't follow the state laws, you don't have to pay the interests and fees charged by them. You are just liable to pay the principal amount.

They can be very nasty though...and are very hard to understand on the phone...they all seem to have foreign accents...they make outrageous demands, ie: once during the time I was first defaulting...I refused to give them any banking info and kept asking for a place to mail a payment (now I know I have overpaid so I never sent it) but they insisted I "borrow" someones bank account, give them the info so they could debit it...NO WAY! I sent them a C & D letter and recently gat a call saying they wish to speak to me about my complaint (I am assuming either the BBB or AG) I did not call back and haven't heard a word since...but don't ever let your guard down with these guys..you can find some horror stories on here about what people have gone through with them.

This is one company that confused me. I defaulted after closing my bank account. I figured that I would have a hard time dealing with them, but I told the guy that kept calling my work that I wouldn't give them a new checking account number, but I'd send them a money order. He said they don't accept money orders or anything so I told them not to call me at work anymore and they haven't. They haven't called my home phone. They haven't called my cell phone. It kind of scares me, but for now, I'm done with them.

Hey, thatkind! Don't be scared yet! They'll lay low for awhile, but then you'll get an email from them one day like 2 months later! LOL! Cracks me up! So, don't be surprised if you get a phone call or email from out of the blue! It's kind of funny. Well, I thought so anyway. I was like "What???" when I got an email from them 2 months later!

Oh, by the way, the phone number I have for them is (800)670-4075. I don't know if it still works, but that's what I have.

I defaulted on GFSIL back on 3/27/07. The other day I emailed customerservice(at)GFSIL.com and ask the status of my acct and they called me minutes later saying my acct was closed with a $0 balance. Works for me.

motomom - you found out they marked you PIF? Yay! Did they do it sneaky, like never even contacting you about it? Just marked it PIF? I love it when they do that. Try to be sneaky, don't say a word, but zero out your account. Like you said, works for you! But they are hilarious. Morningstarr, can you check the status of yours to see? Or are you just going to wait and see what your AG says? These guys are nuts.
