I finally feel like real part of the family now. I also got my first call from Payday-Loan-Yes yesterday, didn't answer it though. I did send out about 10 C and D emails though 
I thank everyone again for their help, its so nice to "know" what to expect instead of going thorugh this blindly.

Just got an email, call at work and cell phone from Rene at MTE. I sent Rene 3 "nice" C&D Letters, lets see what happens!

How long did it take to here from MTE? I have received 1 e-mail with their "generous offer" and then a "you didn't accept so we are going to get you" e-mail. That last one was last week and I haven't heard anything else. It seems like they send them to me on Thursdays as far as I can tell. They claim I still owe them $100. I have two more I have been waiting to here from, M1Y and My Cash Now. In my letters to them I put a US Postal response date requested of March 12th. As of today I haven't heard a word. M1Y should consider themselves well overpaid but I feel like I owe My Cash Now about $241.

Last friday was the first time they got the door slammed in their face. So, 4 days total from no $$ to phone calls and emails.

Wow... had you paid anything back to them at all? I borrowed $200 and I paid them $465. One week after they trie to debit my account on the 15th of February and found it closed they e-mailed me with the offer and gave me 7 days to respond then on the 8th day they sent me the collections letter. I responded back that I would forward the collections letter to my NC AG to put with their original e-mail. I haven't heard anything since then...

Angell, same thing with me. I paid $625.00 on $300.00. Got the letter today saying I have 7 days to contact them or I go to collections. I should be sending THEM to collections. What a joke.

LOL I guess I will wait and see what is next. I might start asking them, when they call, when I can expect the refund of my $265 since the loan was illigal in NC. I would hate to have to turn them over to my collection agency.
