Below is the response I recd regarding legallity of pdl in NC
Ms.*** Roberts:
There is no law that authorizes payday lending in North Carolina;
internet based payday lenders are not granted licenses for such activity
in North Carolina. Interest charges on such loans could be illegal here
in North Carolina.
