I have been getting calls on a regular basis from Payday Loan Yes. I got 3 calls (talked twice to Meredith Jeffries(she also goes by Alisha) both times screaming) within 15 minutes on my work phone first thing this morning. So she called me a hot head on the voicemail. She also said to me that I owe them a balance on my loan and they will give me a special deal. (again I have paid them back in full $450 on $300 loan.)They also are famous by saying they didn't receive any letters from me, etc. I called her back and she answered her extension(her message says Tineesha-but she actually answers the extension). I am going to keep calling her extension today,every few minutes, why not they continue to call me I might as well beat them to the punch. Maybe they will send me to a CA, I only hope.

One time last year I had a horrible collection lady call me. She had me crying! Told me to grow up, pay my bills, etc. The craziest part was that it was paid in full and she didn't believe me or something! I hate their calls, I've been tempted in the past to call them up but i figured they would somehow just end up stressing me out.

I know I am totally stressed by this company and I wish they would stop calling my work. So I thought if I keep calling her that she will get sick of me for a little while. I just don't know what to do with them anymore.

sometimes you gotta let loose,after some of the tactics they use i'm suprised more people don't do that.nothing threatening,just call to check on your account,see how they are.stuff like that or hang up as they answer.just don't go overboard.

I understand - my payday loans have been quiet - for now! I know it won't last, it's like the calm before the storm.. i have a creditor doing that to me, now.. calls me a million times but when i call them back, i keep getting an answering machine. it's like huh?? so i did the same thing you did - just left millions of messages

I won't go overboard, I just want to pest them a little to try to make them not call me-I called back just a few minutes after talking to her and said hi Meredith and she said yeah, I said my name and she says who-I need to look up your account I said you just talked to me like twice you know who I am you call me all the time. When someone yells at me though, I have to say I can't help but yell back.

These people are shameless, aren't they? Thankfully most of my PDL pests seem to have crawled back under their rocks for now, but I'm still dealing with one. They called last week and I hung up on them. They called back, "You hung up on me!" I said, "That's right, and I'm doing it again." CLICK. I don't want to waste my time calling them, even to give them a dose of their own medicine. But I'd told them repeatedly I wouldn't talk with them anymore until they sent me something on company letterhead saying they were legal and licensed to operate in my state (they say they are, the state says they aren't).

Pach-I have asked them also to send something to prove they are legal, not! Anyway, I think I have calmed down and I finally went into one of my co-workers and told them breifly what was going on. We both answer line #1(#is for our clients & I really don't know why I had put that number and not another one), so I can't always avoid these calls but will hang up when they call back for the rest of the day. I do feel better that I did tell my co-worker, he actually wanted to have some fun, but I told him no we will just wait and see what happens.
