Does anyhone have their address? They just called me at work and she went through the reason for her call and I told her that I would call her from my cell phone. I need their address to send them a letter. I looked them up on this website and found out they are a collection agency. She made it sound like she was calling from law office. They are calling for Geneva Roth, who I think is not licensed.

Smith Haynes & Watson, LLC
6950 W 56th St.
Mission, KS 66208
and Geneva Roth is licensed.

They are a collection agency. They are not in house collectors - That would mean they are the same company as the original creditor.
They are a stand alone collection agency that does collections for many payday lenders, as well as other creditors.

They can sue you. They cannot threaten to do anything they aren't planning on going through with, that is a violation of the FDCRA. But they could sue you for the debt.

Today I spoke with Oak View Law Firm and I a decided to go with them. They are expensive, but affordable. I sent them all of my pdl information and he is going to send me the necessary paperwork.
