I never in a million years thought I would actually be happy about paying the BILLS, but since I started all this about a week ago, yesterday (payday) I was actually able to pay my cell, satellite, house payment and insurance without wondering how. Of course I did send off a money order to 1 of the 2 legal pdls that I have worked out an agreement with, only 3 to go on that one. I would like to say to all the new members or people thinking about if this is all worth it....and I say YES, it is all worth it, the faxes to the individual pdls, the online complaint forms to BBB, state AG and even the FTC...I had really given up on my state government and even our federal government, but there are a few that have come through (I guess it helps that next year is elections, Duh..) well, I will get off my little soap box and now we will return to regular programming.

Great post!!  I am so happy for you..I remember what it was like to finally get things together again! Just think, now you can help get other people out of the same situation you WERE in! congratulations!

OOPS, I forgot to thank everyone who helped during those first few days, Volley, Kashzan, Goudah, Roxy, Anthony, and Finsfan..If there is anyone that I may have forgotten I apologize profusely, Uggh I wish I could go to another screen and go back to the thread and look...I feel so bad I can't remember...

deeann...I am so happy for you....I remember that first paycheck I had after my letters went out...I too was estatic over paying "the regular" bills!! I treated myself to Starbucks that day!!!It will be a pleasure to have you stay and help others with the knowledge you've gained!!

dee, you don't know how happy I am to pay bills. Sounds sick, doesn't it? When I am able to actually pay my bills and know that they are paid, I can rest easy (at least for a month anyway!). When the pdls are sucking all your money out and you can't pay anything, it's horrible. You actually never realized you would ENJOY paying bills again. I know. Sounds sick. But I get great satisfaction paying my bills now. Never would have thought that in a million years!
