I have 8 payday loans, via internet. I live in Pa, and am drowning. My employer has an assistance program that will help me, but only when they are in collections. What should I do??

Phyliss Please contact the Attorney Generals office there. Also see post about PA they are getting a cap on these vultures. Go to http://www.paydayloaninfo.org and look up the laws. Best Wishes KYSIDE38

At least they haven't threatened you with arrest.....YET. Let's hope they are not that ignorant. It is funny that they have sent this and it isn't even in default yet. It is good to see you feeling better and back in control and getting out of the pdl cycle.

Phyllis, do as kyside suggested. You need to file a complaint with PA's attorney general's office.

Phylis - can you post some more specifics about your situation? Who did you borrow from? How much have you paid back so far in fees?

With this info we can tell you what you can expect, and give you better advice on how to handle them.

Phyllis, I have always been a firm believer in the Attorney General. No one knows the laws of the state better than they do. Thats there job. Thats also what they go to law school for. I would definately file a complaint with their office. KYSIDE38

I got a letter in the mail today from this Detex Collections company, they are claiming $700.00 owed on a $400 loan and I have paid $100 on it already, they are nuts, talk about inflation!

Listen to that advice and if you could post more info, kyside and others can help you further. bflow, I swear, on this post I thought you said PIF from Cash2Day. I guess I'm having major dreams here!
