since 1800899cash is not legal in ohio, how long will i have to keep arguing with them to get them to stop? i basically took 2 loans out totalling 700 with them. All together I've paid $913. That should be paid in full correct>?

thanks

As you know I have 7 PDL's out there with:
Instacash--loan 200---paid 120
Kenwood LLC--loan 250---paid 150
LoanPointUSA--loan 500---paid 840
OneClickCash--loan 350---paid 105
ssm group--loan 200---paid 360
cardinal cash--loan--250--paid 225
US fast Cash--loan 250---paid 270

I sent out 2 emails yesterday & faxed them all. Today I certified mailed them each a letter. I then sent a letter (& a copy of what I sent to each company) to the BBB, the Michigan AG. I also copied all of this & gave a copy to my bank and scanned in a copy & emailed it to BOA Fraud Prevention.

So far, I have a response (only) from Cardinal, via email & it this is the info I have:
Please call us regarding your account asap. We are willing to make arrangements but we must speak with you first.
Thank You,
Cardinal Management/B&L Services
866-943-6712
866-943-6714(fax)

I have to say I was sure I'd hear more by now. They aren't due to hit my account till next Friday. I hate to call them, considering I told them we would only speak through email or postal mail so I have a record of what is really said. I tried to 'reply', it came back to me. Any ideas????

Hi Tara,

You can check the pdl lending laws in your state here. And, following is the link where you can check the licensing status of the lenders.

http://elicense2-lookup.com.ohio.gov/default.asp

Hope it helps.

Yeah, since you have paid more than what you have borrowed from this illegal lender it should be considered as 'paid in full'. You may check the following thread to learn the ways to fight an illegal payday lender.

aren't all internet payday lenders illegal everywhere?

12 CFR 250.10

(e) Compulsory use--(1) Credit. No financial institution or other person may condition an extension of credit to a consumer on the consumer's repayment by preauthorized electronic fund transfers, except for credit extended under an overdraft credit plan or extended to maintain a specified minimum balance in the consumer's account.

the guy with 1800899cash is now threatening to turn me into a collection agency. He keeps stating that they are legal. and wants proof that they arent. that link you gave me earlier says pdl are considered legal in ohio. "State Legal Status
Lending of payday loan is considered legal (-Low Cost) in the State of Ohio"

they have to have a license to lend in ohio.they don't.it is up to them to provide license when requested.not up to you to prove they don't.if they give it to a CA then you can send a DV letter and either watch them dissapear or can take action against them.
