Payday loan volume in 2006 was $42 BILLION and fee revenue grew to $6.5 BILLION.

I would imagine that the revenue and fee numbers are from only licensed and legally operating businesses? Imagine what that number would balloon to if you add in all the internet companies operating illegally.
