I just today sent Impact Cash USA letters revoking everything and curiousity is killing the cat! I went onto impactcashusa.com and checked my account. It says everything is in process or pending. What do you think that means? I'm probably jumping the gun on this and I should just be a little more patient! After this one, only one more to go and I'll be FREE again!

I will have to check my files. I had them too and I am thinking they were one of the ones that gave me a pif. Congrats on all the hard work paying off.

I received the following email from Impact Cash USA today. I asked for a refund for the overpayments that I have made to my account since they are illegal in Oklahoma. Here is what they said:

"I am writing you in regards for your request for a refund on your account. I am willing to settle your account with what has been paid to your accounts."

Are they agreeing to the refund request or are they just marking my account as paid?

Looks like they want to "settle" for what you have paid and mark you PIF. Make sure you request that they send you a signed copy of the PIF, and it is up to you to decide if you want to pursue the refund or just wash your hands of the company

If I were you, I would take that PIF that they are offering, you said yourself that this is your last one, seems like it would be better to just get it over with

I agree, while it would be nice to get a refund... you need to realize that your are at least getting them to close the issue. You might try and negotiate one last time, offering to sign a written release of liability if they refund your overpayment. if they refuse then state that you will accept their considering your account paid in full, if they putit in writing. However do not agree to release them from liability for the over payment.

If Impact Cash is not LEGAL in Maryland, I should not be obligated to repay the amount borrowed correct? I guess I am still unclear with how all of this works... Sorry Embarassed

Hiya Darkcoco and welcome to the community. We always advocate paying back the principal amount borrowed. I haven't really had time to scan through the new posts yet, have you posted the names of the pdl's you have borrowed from? I do believe there are CSO's (Credit Service Organizations) in Maryland also, which means they do not need to be licensed, and are generally 100% legal in what they charge.

Thanks Shazzers!! Yes, I listed all of the interney PDLs under Legal vs Illegal... I think the only CSO I am dealing with is CashNet USA
