Check n Go Installment loan

I got installment loan from them back in April '07. I got it for a relative who "needed the money really bad and promised they'd make the payments". Needless to say, I got about 3 of the $233 payments and then I paid 1 more on my own. So for the $900 loan I paid $932. After that I could not afford to pay anymore. I called First Bank of Delaware and tried to work something out, but of course they wouldn't. I had to close my account because it was just too much for me to handle. They called maybe twice after that and I told them the same thing--I have to set up a different payment plan, I got this for someone who isn't paying for it, etc. Still wouldn't do it.
It's been a long time since t hey contacted me, it's not on my credit report--should I call them? There was about $800 left on the loan (I'd already paid back the principle plus some) I keep reading all this stuff on here about them, and I'm worried about getting surprised with a court date.

Do you have a payment plan in mind? call them to propose it or send them something in writing.

Since they are a legal company, they can take steps to collect.

A lot of these super high interest places will wait a bit before taking legal action. This way the balance ballons up and they get more money.

That is not to say they will sue you. Just that they can . . . . .

I have a debit card with automatic deposit. Since it is automatic deposit I have a routing number and reference number. Can I use this?
