Instantcashusa.com-they gave me an ultimatum

I got a call from them. They stated they will settle with me by having me pay in 3 payments which actually total the loan principal. They want a copy of my paystub to agree with the dates I stated I can make the payment. I am not sure about all of this and if there is anything I can do, can some please tell me. I want to clear this up but I don't want to disclose anymore information to them.

Thanks

you didn't have to send them a paystub when you got the loan?

They called me on my cell. I don't know if they called me at work, I did send a letter stating only communication should either be cell or email but I am working from home today and seriously doubt they followed what was in the letter. I hate this. Then he said they will freeze the interest and I only need to pay what the loan is. The loan is $260 and he was telling me I needed to pay $350. So I sent his payment email back to him and asked him why should I pay $350 and not $260. I am waiting on a horrible response.

Just an FYI - The original creditor has the right in most states to call the debtor. Just because you send them a letter stating not to call you doesn't mean they have to follow it.

I looked it up and I did not find them listed as being legal. Their name did not show up at all. Should I send another email stating they are not legal. Also, I sent him back his email stating I did not owe what he says and I took his words and reversed them back to him. He said I only need to pay the loan amount and the interest would be froze. Now can I ask them to validate this? I ask for something stating I owe all of this and still waiting. I know the law is probably on my side but dealing with these guys makes me so nervous. If anyone has any response I can tell them, I will surelly appreciate it.

first i would question him on his settlement amount.if your loan was 260.00 and he's asking for 350.00?second did you pay anything in rollovers?you say this place is illegal themn you owe what you borrowed including rollovers.i wouldn't give him anything else, espeially paycheck stubs.

Well I did ask him to prove this. He was really quick with the other emails but I have not received that one. I am not going to send any paystubs- they already have enough of my business. Do you think I should also let them know that yes I did agree to the loan but at the time, I was unaware of the Illinois laws and since you are supposedly "legal to operate in Illinois" then you too must follow. I need to come back with them hard to kind of shake them up a little.

Do not give any more information. They want to see if you got a raise to get more money.

I would pay them the principal amount borrowed, there would be no negotiating on my part and no bantering back and forth, it serves no purpose. Illegal pdl's are just that, illegal, there is no reasoning with unreasonable people. Pay them off and forget they ever existed, that is what I would do.

I would like to add a note about instantcashusa!! I filed a complaint throught the BBB a couple wks ago because i didnt receive a response through their email. I just got a nasty call this morning by a guy named Lamar, oh is he a pleasant one!!
asking me what this fax was he just got, i had no idea what he was talking about then he mentioned it was from the BBB!
He yelled at me the whole time, but wouldnt listen to me at all. I was very polite on the phone and asked if they were legal in my state, of course he went on saying you got this loan bla bla bla, but never answered till later stating we're licensed in every state i asked for his license # he went on about i got the money and i need to pay it back now and he offered me to pay it in 2 payments, first he said i owed $580 - this is on a $300 loan, then he said hold on a min. and came back saying it would be 390.
I tried to get arrangements done with him he wouldnt listen, very rude an yelling, i hated to hang up thinking he would deduct these funds out of my acct now, i needed to do something so he didnt. i was trying to get through to him and he said well good luck to you and hung up...Crap i thought for sure that was it, im screwed i called right back and got transfered to him after quite a time, but i got him to break it up into 3 payments. I know this is still wrong and im not sure what else to do. I wanted to just hang up on him so bad, but agian i was afraid they would just deduct all of that out of my acct.
I also asked about mailing in a moneyorder or doing a money gram, he said it has to come out of my acct, and if i did a money gram it would have to be for the whole amount due!!
not sure what to think, i am so close to getting these under control and out of my hair!!
Thanks for listening

Well guess who called me today? Lamarr. He was trying to make it seem like he was doing me a favor by making me pay $350 when I owed $260. When I asked for something breaking down how it got to be so much, I have not heard from him. I know they are going to try to debit my account but there will be no luck there. Also, somehow they changed my due date and when I question that, of course he could fax that to me. I am trying to be strong but this is getting out of hand and I put myself in this predictament.
