All of those companies are unlicensed in IN.

Go here and read up on the steps to take when dealing with unlicensed/illegal lenders.

For these lenders you only owe the principle amount, which is the amount you borrowed.

I was in trouble with 4 payday internet loans. I sent all but one a revocation letter, to my surprise they sent a paper check thourgh my account. I immedialty went to the bank and closed the account and opened a new one. The person helping me was great. My loans were Loan Shop, United Cash Loans, Ameriloan, and High Country Ventures. All we renewed 4 times and in the process of being paid off. Are these payday loans legal in Indiana. I cannot find an address for High Country Ventures can you help. They are now starting to send me nasty emails and phone calls. What can I do?

2 Years ago I received a $200.00 amount from a payday loan deposited into my account. I never applied for this loan, for 6 months they withdrew a $60.00 renewal fee every payday adding up to $630.00. I finally stopped payment to them and on 4/15/2009 at 8pm I received a phone call that they sent my file to a legal office called R&G assoc., which happens to be law firm in Pakistan! What do I do? I have no loan documents or any proof that I signed for this loan!

There is nothing a supposed Pakistan law office can do to you as a U.S. citizen. The loan you probably recieved was from an overseas based lender and now they are trying to scare you into paying more money.

You said you never applied for it, then you could have had the bank reverse the deposit if that was the case. What is the name of the PDL company that deposited the money??

The company is debt doctors, i finally found a phone number and checked the BBB and found a rating F. They are located in Wentzville, MO 63385 P.O. box 126. I did not know you could reverse the loan, I left it in the account hoping that they would take it out the following payday but it never happened, I just now found out who they are 2 years later.
