I asked the bank if they new where the loan came from and if there was a company name, phone # etc., they told me that they could not pull up any info on this withdrawl from my statement. I asked them what should i do and they told me to stop payment and see if they notify me.

Guest HERE is some more info on Debt Doctor.

Looks like this company is into scaring folks into paying a ridiculous amount of money. If you never applied for a loan with them. I would tell them to kick rocks

I live in Indiana and have loans with e-payday-loan.com and midwestloancenter.com neither of which I can find licensed in our state. I am going to use a copy of the email that was generously provided by another user and start there, but can anyone tell me if these two companies are or are not allowed to loan in Indiana... Please Help.. Thank You!

They don't tell you this, but they will work out payments with you. They try the hard core approach first. If they think you are going too claim bankrupcy they are quick to be agreeable because they know they will not get full payoff.

If they are not licensed, then you are not liable. It will not stop them from trying to collect over the phone with threats etc but it removes your liability on the debt.

No matter what they say, they cannot and will not take you to court over it.

That is true however, we advocate paying back atleast what you are morally obligated too. Only pay back what you borrowed nothing more and at your convenience.

I have three payday loans out, I also live in Indiana, and since they unexpectedly cut off my overtime I cannot pay them right now like planned. I have one from mycashnow.com for 450 plus 85.65 fees and intersest, I have one from ameriloan.com for 350 plus 105 fees and interest; and one out from 500fastcash.com for 200 plus 60 dollars fees and interest. Can anybody help me to know what to say to them now that I unfortunatly cannot keep our agreement as scheduled. I want to pay them back but cannot at once. Thanks

I am writing to find out how can you find out if a payday loan is legal in your state. I am concerned because I have also fell vulnerable to pdls and now I am trapped by them. I want to pay them back, but they are not willing to negotiate with me. I deal with usfastcash.com, 500fastcash.com and discountadvances.com. They are not willing to allow me to work things out so that I could pay them off. I offered to pay the fees, and then break the principle into two pymts, but they declined and said that I would be renewing if I just pay the interest fee, which means it would be an ongoing thing withdrawn from my account. So I need to know if they are legal in louisiana.
