CahNetUSA isn't a payday loan in TX, they are a CSO or Credit Services Organization. The Credit Services Organization model (unfortunately) IS NO LICENSING required by the state! CSO's are required to "Register" with the Secretary of State, they are NOT licensed, and their fees ARE NOT REGULATED. They do not follow the payday loan laws. Ask them if they have a hardship payment plan. It's in your best interest to make some type of arrangements with them because they can and will sue you, eventually. Payday One is also a legal lender in TX., ask them if you can set up some type of payment plan also. Is Speedy Cash a store front lender?

So do you think Speedy Cash can do anything to me? I was able to do it online and we do have the stores up here.. Do you think Payday One will help me out with a payment every week but not for the 96 every 2 weeks

Based on other members experience here with PaydayOne, they will probably be helpful, but no one can ever be sure until they ask. Did you see if Speedy was a member of the CFSA? If they are, then they should have an EPP available, if they aren't then yes, they will eventually sue you. I am curious, why didn't you add them to your bankruptcy?

Hello,

I live in Indiana and a few weeks ago I took out several online payday loans in an attempt to get me out of a financial hole. After paying the finance charge alone on several of these loans bi-weekly, I have found myself in a deeper whole and unable to maintain household expenses. I am so afraid right now because these companies have my banking information. I contacted all the companies by phone to discuss possible payment arrangements and none are willing to accept my request. I noticed that all of the companies are illegal in the state of Indiana. What should I do? All loans (minimum finance charge) are due 12/11/2009.

Kingston Financial: $289 ($200 plus $89 finance charge)
My Payday Loan: $375 ($300 plus $75 finance charge)
Paycheck Today: $260 ($200 plus $60 finance charge)
Loan Point USA: $390 ($300 plus $90 finance charge)
