I have read the laws for the State of Alabama concerning payday loans but unsure if the internet kind are not allowed here or are illegal. Can someone help me with this. I have had a couple to set me up on payment plans but through debiting my account if I do a hard block do you think the company let me pay them with a money order through the mail?

Thanks.

What companies are you dealing with? There are a lot of illegal Internet lenders and a very few legal ones.

Alabama requires Internet lenders to be licensed by your state, so, click the link below to see if any of your lenders are listed in the Alabama licensee data base, if they aren't listed then they aren't licensed.

You can look them up with the link I gave you above. If none of them are licensed (I suspect they aren't), then CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.
