How can this company buy the account from an illegal pdl (JVC Processing) and try to collect on it? I just received a letter from NCA saying they bought the account from JVC. I sent letters to JVC requesting a pif and sent them the laws back in April with absolutely no response at all. I overpaid them by 260.00 and now NCA says it wants 320.00. How do i respond to them?

If NCA is a collection agency then send them a validation letter, make them validate it!

And, yeah, send them the DV letter immediately. I'm sure you will never hear form them again and be rest assured that they can't collect on an illegal pdl.
