Does anyone have any experience dealing with Langhorne debt solutions to resolve their payday loan issues? I got in touch with them today, and wondered if anyone has had success in dealing with them.

I am currently with Langhorne and I can tell you that they took a lot of worry off of me regarding PDL's. I had 7 of them and with the help of Langhorne I am working towards paying them off. They negotiated with the PDL's to eliminate the finance charges. Remember the key is communication so if you cannot pay, let them know and they will contact the lender for you. Some folks don't like the fact that you have to pay Langhorne for their services and also pay the PDL's too but it works for me. Also, some PDL's will turn your account over to third party for collection even though they have been notified by Langhorne but don't worry because they have contacts with them too. They will tell you that you need to close you account and get a new one with the same bank if you choose to or go to another bank and they have other procedures that you need to do to sign on. Try it and if you don't like the results you are not obligated to stay in the program if you feel it is not working for you. Good Luck.

I tried Langhorn debt solutions about 1 1/2 ago and they could only help with interent PDL's. They just told me to handle the store PDL's myself and try to work out an agreement -well store front's won't do that with individuals. (that I am aware of). So it was a struggle to try to Langhorn and store PDL's.

But storefronts do make arrangements with customers - at least if the stores are CFSA members. A debt settlement company is ripping you off if they don't at least suggest you try to do the stores yourself. Why pay them a fee for something the store might do anyway?

Personally, I didn't use them as I didn't like what they were telling me, nor did I like their attitude. I was able to clear all my PDLs myself and for a lot less money. However, you must do what you feel is best for you. Good luck and keep us posted.
