If paydayone is legal then doesn't it have to be licensed also in Mn.? I don't see it on the Mn. link you provided. I thought all paydays have to be licensed in Minnesota to be legal. And just to clarify, are these loans illegal? Thank you

paydayone could be a CSO(credit service organization).yes all the others are illegal everywhere.

Thank you so much. I have learned so much from this forum and continue to learn. It has given me strength, encouragement and hope. I sure couldn't have tackled these companies without your advice. I feel like I am getting my life back which I haven't had for years due to this mess.

I would recheck my contract with PaydayOne, they may be listed as a personal loan lender. If they are listed as a Payday lender you may want to call your DFI at (651) 296-2135 and ask them. I do know of one instance where PaydayOne was NOT licensed to lend in a particular state but I can't remember which state is was so give your DFI a call to be 100% sure, but first look at your contract and see if they are in fact showing they are a payday lender.
