HI
Just contacted by a "law office" for a defaulted payday loan from Quik payday.$495!!! I am sure this loan was paid. I have not had a loan in years with them!!!they say its 2005 but that is untrue. I researched this and this company is even out of business?? What do I do?

Tell them that they need to send you validation of the debt. They are required to do so. Tell them that according to your bank records, this debt is paid in full. It's possible that they are a legit "Law office",and if they are then they can send you proof. They may have purchased this debt from Quikpayday. If you've already paid the debt, they need to close the account. Make them prove to you that you owe the debt.
