i had a phone call about a dozen times today from some company called lending finacial,telling me they had 3000.00 i could borrow it was a payday loan,i hung up on him he was a forgein speaking guy,i told him that i was not interested and they just keep calling,has anyone ever heard of them.

Hi Kev...no I have never heard of a payday loan of that amount. Can you imagine the interest alone???
Also if your paycheck can cover 3 grand..then you don't need the a loan!!!

I've personally never heard of them calling you either. I think they tell you that you can borrow up to 3000 but you have to start off small. You borrow like 200 and then pay that off and then your next loan if you need to borrow you can get more. Most pdl's only offer 1500 at the most. Ask them for a phone number and address next time they call. When they ask why you want that information, tell them that you want to check if they are legal and licensed! That'll stop them from calling!

Sounds like to me, it was a 'Cah Call based' loan. I've had calls like this, too, but, never 'caught' the name of the place. Some advice???? If something, like that, doesn't give you the 'right' feeling, than it's probably a scam. SOO many of them out there.

SD is right. I got an e-mail about some microsoft lottery I "won". Of course I checked it out and it was a scam. A whole lot of them out there. You have to be careful.

I have gotten calls from various places with credit lines that were actually from catalogs. Payday lenders have called me but only after I applied on line for them!
