pd loans

why borrow from many companies. if you need more then what they are offering tell them no thank you. why not try and borrow from your bank instead of a high interest pd loan? these companies can help you out in tuff times and if you pay them right off you won't pay much at all. it would be less then paying a credit card back. i have read a lot on here and i see a bunch of adults who take MANY pd loans and then look for ways to rip them off and not pay them back per there contract. come on people stop doing this to your self its not the companies doing it to you. do you think of ways to get over on the gas company, how about the auto loan company, mortgage? then why do it to the little guy trying to make a living by lending funds to people in 24 hours. try getting a 1000.00 loan from your bank in 24 hours, it won't happen.

Try getting any kind of loan from your bank- it won't happen Razz I have perfect credit and my own bank of 10 years won't help me out when I really need help because I'm 'worthless' to them- I don't own a home and I don't have any assets or property.

I really don't want to waste my time going into a tirade about how people end up in these PDL situations.

And the only people ripping people off are these payday lenders, charging outrageous interest rates out of pure greed.

The little guy? You have a lot to learn about the back-office dealings of the PDL industry. Perhaps the "little guy" should learn how to loan money that follows the laws of each state.

Nobody here sits up at night trying to figure out how to "rip people off" and get over on people.

why do people take more then they need at that time? when someone knows they can't afford to pay it back. that just shows they wanted to rip them off.

see even the one persons bank wouldn't help them. but the pd loan company sure did.

Some people don't have the foresight to take only what they need, and sometimes that helps them get into this mess all the quicker. Most people don't want to turn to PDLs, but they end up having no where else to turn. They are already in a bad situation, so predatory payday lenders are only exacberating the problem by charging outrageous interest rates. What, 30-40 % isn't enough to make a profit? They have to charge 400% or more? It's ludicrous!

As for saying these people are taking out PDLs they can barely afford so they can purposely rip off these companies, that's like saying these companies are purposely charging outrageous, unpayable interest rates so that borrowers will purposely default and not be able to pay them back.

You need to stop painting strokes with such a broad brush- not everyone's situations here are the same. Not everyone defaults on their payday loans.

As for my own bank not giving me a loan- like I said, the world isn't that easy. If we could, I think we would all like to have 0 debt and not have to worry about bills. Mine is just an example of how PDLs were the only option at one point. I have a perfect credit history. But just because I have perfect cerdit history doesn't mean I am necessarily going to get my way when it comes to financial help. I don't own a house so no reputable institution is going to give me a loan, despite my perfect payment history and the fact that I have the highest level of customer account at my bank.

Everyone's stories here are different. You shouldn't come here with the attitude that everyone with a little financial trouble are thieves shirking their responsibilities.

think of it volly.. do you see people going after amex, visa, or MC some do but look whats going on here.. if people just paid the loan right off like i do when there needed you won't be getting these calls.. don't borrow 400.00 from 10 lenders.. if you don't make 4k a month what makes you think you can afford 4k in loans. its really just common sence

I hear what you're saying Nick....

Its easier said than done...everyone makes decisions in the heat of the moment that maybe they wished they hadnt and it happens in MANY situations, not just with PDL's.

What our members dont need here is a lecture....please give it rest.

This is an area to help....99% of these PDL's are operating illegally and many are not located here in the US and are charging fees not allowed by law.
Whats your take on that?

Additionally, if you read many of the posts, we do encourage our members to work out a plan with PDL's that ARE operating legally and are members of the CFSA.

Every situation is different....if you havent defaulted on yours yet, then congrats! Not everyone can make it work.

Nick needs to be blocked from this site. Nick, you are a rude person. Obviously you don't understand what we are going through, so keep you opinions to yourself. You obviously need some sort of financial help because you found this site. If you are having a problem, we are here to help you. If you came here to criticize, keep it to yourself.

no i come here to read and help my self. but i have seen so many people who take funds then try and find every way out there not to pay them back. is that fair to the company? why not tell them right off the bat you are going to have 5 payday loans and you won't be able to pay them back. why not read it all. its very simple if you ask me. pay the fee's, pay the loan right off.. don't try and get out of it. don't extend the loans out. payday loans have helped me threw the yrs. its almost like a second job but i pay it back.. right back. each payday loan i take i pay it right off in full with there fee's the next pay date
