I have checked out the site to see if a company is licensed for my state. Cashnetusa does not come up listed as a licensed business. However, there websites and emails the send out state that they are. Is this just one of their lies to scare people from the truth.

CashNetUSA is licensed they rent the licenses of pawn shops in the state's they offer loans. So when you search for a license for them, you won't find it under their name, because technically they don't have one, but it is legal for them to rent the pawn shops license. The pawn shop in OH is located in Cincinnati.

They typically follow the laws of the states they loan, unfortunately, you live in NV where the pdl laws suck. They are easy to work with and accept payment arrangements, at least that was my case.

Yeah, since there is no limit on the interest they can charge, I don't think you can overpay them . . . . But once you default on the loan the interest rate is set at prime + 10%, so once you default on the loan you can set up payment arrangements with them and the outrageous fees every two weeks will stop.

Stopthemadness, they are pretty easy to work with, once you default, and then you can set up a payment arrangment with them. At first they will be calling and emailing you TONS until you arrange something with them, but in my experience, they haven't been rude or threatening. They will tell you that you have to set up payments a certain way, but just pay them what YOU can afford, no matter what they say. I sent them a money order via certified mail...that way I have a receipt of my payment, less expensive than MoneyGram/Western Union, and I have proof that they accepted it. Once they got the m.o. they sent me a new statement showing me the lowered amount.
