Hello, like many I have gotten myself into the payday loan trap. THAnks to this wonderful site I have gotten most settled, but the one that I do not know what to do about is Cashnet USA. I thought that they were not licensed, but I recieved email back from them stating they are. Any help with this PDL company? I live in WI. Thank You!

Not sure what your situation is with them - if your account is current or in default but I had an account with them, and paid them off. I called before my due date and explained that due to circumstances I won't have the funds until this date and they agreed to postpone the payment.

Thanks! I borrowed $150 and my loan is due this Friday, so I'm not in bad with them yet. I have sent them a request to not debit my account, due to having to close it and now trying to make arrangements with them.

I was not sure based on the emails that they sent back if they were ok about setting up arrangements.

It could be just an auto-reply. I would call them to make sure sometimes they take a day or two to get to the e-mails and the debit is sometimes set up 24 - 48 hours prior to your due date. If the money won't be there and you're letting them know ahead of time they should work with you

Cashnet USA is always licensed to lend legally. You should just try to make arrangements with them, if you have a small loan like that you may as well try to pay it off as fast as you can so you don't get charged fee's and interest.

Yes I ended up finding that out that they were actually licensed. They sent me the info showing proof. I have been working with them thru email and they don't seem to want to work out an arrangement to let me pay off at the end of the month. They are only wanting me to pay the interest this week and then payoff. I cannot pay in full this week and my account is closed so if they run it thru and it comes back, they said they will then start collection procedures.

I am dealing with them as well, and I spoke with them on the phone and came to a payment arrangement to get my account cleared up. The guy was surprisingly understanding.. I would call them and explain the situation to them. good luck!

I borrowed $150 and I have to pay $99.13 2 pay dates this month and I'm all taken care of. I don't mind about the $48.26 late charges.

By chance does anyone know if Paydaymax is legal for WI residents? It's online and I could not locate it as Legal, but I wanted to make sure.

CashNetUSA is by far the best of the worst PDL's around, In my experience with them they have been very understanding and professional, in fact, they even sent me a refridgerator magnet "Silver Member" for future loans.....not going to happen!

Yeah I agree, as far as internet payday loans go, they are the best. Not that I want any loans but I respect them because they obey the laws unlike many internet payday lenders. Smile
