Can Anyone Please Advise?

I just joined last week and I'm not able to send PM's and have trouble logging in. I've emailed Denny and Jason but haven't heard anything. It's discouraging to say the least. I'm trying once more to see if this goes through as a new post.
I have 4 storefront loans out in MS that will default tomorrow since my account is closed. Two are with the same Co. and I'm worried about them working out an arrangement more than the other two. They are not CFSA members but are licensed in their state. I've been paying all 4 religiously, on-time for over a year. Should I call the Regional Mgr. today to try and work out an arrangement or will tomorrow be too late? I'd prefer to deal with him because he has helped with Customer Service issues in the past. His employees are not friendly people. He's more professional. Please advise, I'm very scared and would appreciate some feedback.
Thank you in advance...

Clove, I did pm you back. Yes, deal with the regional manager if that is what it takes. Many times they are better to deal with than the store employees. I have read in several places the store employees are discouraged from helping the patron in this manner. Do this asap. IF the regional manager does not work...go over their head to the next person. Work your way up if you have to. Do not be scared. I know this will be difficult and can be embarassing but you have to do this or you will never break the cycle. I put some additional information in my pm to you. You may also want to share the name of the companies with us. Many have had storefronts and may have experiences or advice to share regarding how to deal with a specific company.

Thanks Roxy... I received your mail and sent you more specifics. The names of the companies are Quik Lend, use to be AAAFastCash, Horn Lake and Southaven MS, Southaven Check Advance, and Check2Cash, Olive Branch. If anyone has had dealings down South with these people please let me know. Again...thank you for responding!

Clove, hang in there. I am not familiar with any of those but hopefully someone will come along who is.
BTW, excellent research on the laws and the phone calls you have made so far. Very Happy

clove, contact the regional manager. When I had a difficult time dealing with one particular storefront (horrible manager), I dealt with the regional manager. The regional manager contacted the storefront manager on my behalf and set everything up for me. I found the regional manager to be very helpful and actually apologized for the store manager being such a horse's ass. When I walked into the storefront, they had everything ready for me to make payment arrangements. I actually encourage people to call the corporate office of storefronts when you can't make headway with them. The managers are all different and sometimes make up their own "rules". The corporate/regional office will work better with you.

Thanks so much... I did contact the Regional who gave me a cell number for the District. He was nice and I will call him tomorrow. I think they will work with me...I just don't want to ever go back in the stores.

clove, great! Please do call and let us know how it went. I found it to be a much better experience dealing with the "top dog" rather than the store manager. I'm rooting for you, too! Let us know how it goes. If you run into any snags, we may be able to help!

Well it went far better than I suspected. He was very nice and said they would be happy to work with me to pay them off and offered a plan with installments but I think they were trying to string me along with interest attached. He also reiterated how much they would like to keep me as a loyal customer...Blah Blah Blah...I was hoping I wouldn't have to go into the stores again and just send a money order to their home office but no luck, so I'll grin and bear it until I've got them paid off...hopefully within 3-4 weeks. Now if the other 2 will be as nice, I'm home free. I'm very surprised the IPDL's haven't hounded me..maybe they know better than to mess with someone who works for the BBB. I've only received 2 emails from them and sent my certified letters off in case.
This is the first weekend in a long time I feel a sense of hope and peace. I'm going to sleep like a baby tonight and thank God above for this huge answer to many prayers. You guys are angels in disguise and I'm grateful for your help and support beyond measure.
Walking In Memphis...with hope!

Awesome, clove! I know the dreaded feeling of walking into those stupid storefronts and making those payments. However, realize you are NOT the only one doing the same thing there! That's what made me feel better! One of my storefronts let me pay the corporate office, but the others I had to go to the store to pay. Whatever. I just went and made my payments. I'm hoping for the best with the other two that you have. If you have any problems, just post. We'll help.

Clove, I am really happy to hear things are going better and that the Regional Manager took care of things. You are making progress. Keep up the good work.

That is indeed great that things are going better and I hope that there is light at the end of the tunnel for you soon! I think one reason store managers might be "difficult" to deal with is maybe having these loans around impacts their bonuses? I wouldn't be surprised...

No, ks. You're right. I know it for a fact. I know a couple of storefront managers. They get their "bonus" alright. It's disgusting. That's why they tell you to friggin "borrow from a friend and pay them back and rewrite". Makes me want to barf just thinking about it. Payments? They don't want payments. It cuts into their monthly check. Can't say as I would ever want to be an employee or a manager of a check cashing place. I wouldn't be able to look at myself.

You know guys that makes alot of sense. The two particular stores were ugly especially at the end of the month if I was a day late. It cut into their "bonus" of the year, or month end. I even ask the Regional if they work on commission and he denied it....go figure! These people have no conscience, empathy, or understanding. They are lower than gutter rats and it may sound like a strong statement coming from a lady but it's the truth. How low can you go?
Not on their level!

clove, believe me, they get a "bonus". Or whatever they want to call it. This is why they want people to continue to re-write. They honestly don't want to see people pif and leave. It's probably like a knife going through their heart! The more people that keep going in and re-writing, the better off they are (as far as they think). So I don't know if they call it a "bonus" or "commission" or whatever, but it's there - whatever you want to call it. To hell with them, I say.

Cannr... I agree wholeheartedly..they could care a less and the bonus is in place for the person who does the best....SCORES... How sad...at the expense of others. No wonder they are the most miserable people you ever meet. They shine well in that department but fail by volumnes in their insincereity and unprofessional approach.
Sad but true...
P.S. Please forgive my spelling.. I've lost my best glasses!
