Hi everyone. I got a letter from the little loanshop via usps yesterday. It says basically "You may have overlooked your loan with us....you owe $227" (took out the loan for $200 and paid $85 so far). They went on to say, let us help you with arrangements, blah, blah, blah. OR, you can send us payment via moneygram...
I'm just wondering if anyone else has received a letter from them, and if so, how did you handle it? Also, I think I read on here somewhere that the little loanshop is in hot water. Does anyone know anything about that?
I am going to be able to pay them the $115 that I owe them next week, so I thought I would send it via moneygram and then request it to be considered paid in full. What do you all think?

of course they will work with you,if you are willing to pay the amount they want.freak only owes 115.00 that is it.they want almost twice that.i would send the 115.00 freak and enclose a letter again stating that there loan was illegal and you are done with them.

freakmeout, I just got a letter from them today also! Their letter to me wasn't as kind, it was more like the one in the thread from Shazzers. I had a $300 loan with them and have paid $270 in fees. They claim I still owe the $290 and if I don't pay that they will take further collection action against me. I think I will take Paul's advice to you , send them $30, remind them that their loan was illegal and be done with it. If they go to collections from everything I have seen on this forum, it would actually be better. Good luck with yours! Let us know what happens.
