I just got a response from the Loan Shop Online!!! Only one day after I sent the letter!.They said...

Thank you for your correspondence in regards to your account. We have received your complaint and would like to settle this matter immediately.

Please be advised that we have reviewed your account and there is no further payment due of you. Your account with us loan ID 423706 as of August 20, 2008 is considered paid in full. Please be advised, the payment that was scheduled for your due date of August 22, 2008 has already been sent to the bank due to the fact that we work three business days in advance and are unable to stop the transmittion. However, there will be no further attempts on your account after this date.

If you have any further questions or concerns please contact me via email or call me at 1-800-806-9971 ext 3295.

One down 3 to go...its a good start now I just have to deal with BIG...they are a nightmare but this gives me a little hope! Thank you everyone for you help!!! You're all awesome!

I am confused,...are they saying they are going to withdraw more money from your account and then mark your account pif? Did you still owe them money on the principal balance? If that is not the case they need to give you a full refund asap.

I have already closed my bank account so they cant take the payment. I dont owe anything else on balanace, I have paid $990 on a $300 loan. so if anything they owe me money. I just let her know that the account is closed and the payment will not go through. Should I try for a refund? If so how do I go about that?

I got another response from Loan Shop Online.. this is what she said.

Whether or not your account is closed the preceding email and notification will remain in place and as of August 20, 2008 your loan ID 423706 is considered paid in full. There will be no further payment due of you.

Should I try for a refund now??

Refunds are very rare and hard to come by.

I wouldn't suggest it . . . . It looks wierd when you ask for a PIF, get it, then come back and ask for a refund.

yeah, it's a great thing! Congrats! Very Happy

It can be hard enough to get a PIF, so it's best sometimes to take it and run with it!

I am glad to hear that they can't get anymore of your money:) Make sure you save that pif letter in case they try to collect later down the road you have that as proof.
