Thanks to the many that have guided me through this crazy Loan Shop Online payday loan problem I have sent them numerous emails and they have in turn sent numerous emails back to me saying that they won't settle for anything less than the original loan amount of $100, regardless of the fact that I have already paid them $45.

And yes according to Iowa State Law, internet payday loans are illegal and have sent the appropriate letters stating as such. Loan Shop Online is now coming back to me saying that they can't help that I came to them for a loan and that I'm in another state regardless of where my computer was they are not budging! They want their $100.00 and now they are starting to get threatening.

I just don't know how much more I can take of them. Can someone please direct me in the right direction?

Simply tell them your state law prevails. I wouldn't get too worked up over them, they aren't worth it. Tell them you need an address to send them a money order for the remaining amount you borrowed $55.00, I would also tell them, no address, no payments. Let them threaten all they want, it means nothing.

Thanks Shazzers but in all seriousness...I really do want to pay these suckers off and I'm afraid that after all this time it's affecting my credit report something fierce. Am I getting worked up over nothing? I'm just curious because I've never had a payday loan before so I'm not sure how they work.

Thanks again!
