I just received a call from an Al Simmons, states he is a locator for Nationwide. Asked if he could come by my work and drop off some paperwork. I told him no I have no idea who he is or what this is about. Seemed nice enough he apologized and said he would give me time to call them and discuss since I had no idea who they were. Anyway he gave me the number 877-631-9680 called s/w "Annie Nelson" I told her I wanted to know what this was regarding. States its from 2008 loan borrowed $300 and ended up paying back a total of $810 before I found out it was an illegal loan. Sent all my letters to company to BBB all that. Had been recieving calls from Peach Tree sent them all the copies so they stopped now this company is calling me. She wouldn't give me any info just stated as soon as I get my paperwork I can no longer contact them for any reason just show up in court. Any advice????
Thank you

This is a scam.

If they call again, tell them you know it's a scam and that you've reported them to the FTC, your state's AG and to your local police department for attempted extortion/identity theft.

After that hang up, don't ever talk to them again and follow through on the complaint filing.

So....there really is no "locator" in Riverside ready to bring me my paperwork?? lol.

Does anyone have the address so maybe I can send them all the paperwork. JHS marketing aka Bahamas is the biggest nightmare they keep selling my file over and over. Just when I think its done someone else calls. UGH!!!!

you send a complete C&D letter.the loans were illegal, and they are breaking the law with the calls.besides by all posts you owe nothing.you are owed a refund.do not waste time in talking to them.

Oh. A C&D with this type of place is nearly impossible. They use different names, change locations, many times are offshore, etc.

Just wait til they call again and tell them what I told you, then ignore them after that. Don't answer the phone, don't argue, don't bother.

They'll stop calling eventually.

Thanks. Ya I have all my info still it's just when the new collection co calls I get flustered. So now I just need to try to get the address or wait until the "locator" calls me again. He said he would meet me at a public place so he didn't have to come to my job. So I think Riverside Police dept is a good meeting place. :)
