How do I know if 247 advances is legal in the state of Louisiana? They have called me and told me the only way to pay it off would be by ACH. I told them that i closed my account and would not give my checking information out online or over the phone. They said that i would be placed in collections forever and possible legal action. The loan was for $200 and i have made 5 payments of $74 for a total of $370.

This company is not licensed in the U.S. I believe. They are based in Ireland. They will give you the layout on how you should repay with bank info and they do not accept mailed payments. Do not buy it, they will drain your account dry.

Let me gues you borrowed around $200 and they been charging $74 rollover fee every payday.

READ here for more information on 247 advances.
