I wanted to share with all of you the email I received from Payday Loan Yes. I guess as soon as I receive the collection notice I will be mailing the DV letter.
Your account has been turned over to an agency. Any further questions or concerns for the account will be addressed by them. The number to call is

What state do you live in? I really don't think there is much they can do, especially if you have pd and pd and pd..... Good Luck, Im in there with ya.

kate, as soon as you are contacted by your "collection agency", slap that debt validation letter on them.

Kate do you have a request for validation of debt letter? I know I have sent a few out...did I send you one. If you need any help with it or them let me know...I have been in collections for my PDL Yes account for months. And honestly gotta say it has been better than dealing with the company.

Thanks Roxy I do have the DV letter. I live in Florida, and I borrowed $350 from them and I never made a payment because I had to close my account. I did email them stating that I wanted to make arrangements to pay them back but they never responded.

That's okay, kate. You have proof that you tried to work with these people. Just keep everything. And wait until you hear from the "collection agency" and then send out the DV letter.

Kate that is the same thing that happened to me, I was emailing and faxing for weeks and weeks and nothing! Then they call me saying that I "can settle" with them for 590, my loan was also for 350, I told them no way, I have been trying to get in touch with you, its not my fault that it took sooooo long for you to respond!

I was able to get a hold of them about 2 months ago, and the lady who I spoke to told me that they would settle for 70% of my balance, so i told her how much is that? She said it was $470, that without the 70% it was about $1500. They are crazy!

With as many problems and complaints against these PDL companies, I am very surprised the government hasn't done something to put a stop to them. I am all for Free Enterprise BUT this is totally ridiculous.

Wow, I wish they would tell me something like that!I will wait for the day, for the last couple of weeks they have been silent, I sent over my letters certified mail and they called me twice and that was it
