I live in MD, I closed my bank acocunt yesterday. I have 5 internet payday loans

Cashnet USA-Which I know is a CSO
Manhattan Processing
Sandpoint Capital
Cash Plus
CMG Group

I know the rest are illegal in the state of MD. My next round of finance charges to come out are scheduled for 12/10/10. When should I send the letters to them that they are not legal and I am only going to pay the principal amount? Should I fax them today, since I have no addresses for none of these compaines excluding Cashnet USA.

I just need to know what my next step is? Can anyone help?? Please

I would email them. CashNet is usally pretty good to work with. You shouldn't have trouble setting up an EPP. Just tell them that you cannot afford your payments and need to set up an EPP to get it paid off. Since your account is safe, you should file your complaints regarding the other 4 with the AG of MD, the FTC and also the MD Commissioner of Financial Regulation. Let me look around and see if I can find email contact info for you.

Listen to OhioGirl1 and get all of your complaints filed. Once your PDL's realize next Fri that they can't access your account you will be hearing from them probably by email. If you can't find an email address wait until they contact you. Be sure to revoke any wage assignments as well.

Ok I will do that first thing tomorrow morning. When should I fax the letters to the other four companies?

If your account is closed, I would do it all at once.

If you can, file the complaints and attach a copy of your complaint with the letter/email that you will send.
