Please list all of your pdl's (who they are), how much you borrowed, how much you have paid back so far and if storefront or internet.
Have you made contact with any of your pdl's?
Also; someone will be by to post your state laws..and give you more advice...
Good luck.

Christy,
More than likely you will need to close your account out; but first we need some information to determine your next steps...
List the pdl's you have, how much you borrowed and how much you have paid back so far. What state you live in and if your pdl's are internet or storefront..
thanks....

these payday loans were all from the internet
250.00 cashadvancenow
390.00 usfastcash
271.96 paydayavenue
296.55 paydaymax
390 quickestcashadvance
520 upfrontpayday
1230 dr cash
520 speedypayday
200 sjm platinumb
200 paycoadvances
I reside in the state of maryland and am thinking of joining a pdl paydown servce with fidelity reserves.
I did receive a disturbing call from quickest cash advances who turned my account over to a collection company, l.r.a, they said that if i dont pay what i owe to them shortly they will go to court to bring up felony charges on me, what are the laws of maryland over any of this? any help would be greatly appreciated.I got myself into this and dont know how to get out. thanx.

| Quote: | | Help, I sent in a list of pdls that I owe from the internet (signed in as jczplace12) and that I live in maryland , what does it mean to my pocketbook if the pdls are illegal in the state of md? What kind of legal action can I expect? I have already closed my bank account and the bank has not let them force it open, kudos to my bank. Thank you for your help and am glad to find I am not alone, got to tell you, I am quite scared right about now. |
Joe started another thread also, I asked that he reply to this one, thats why I quoted what he posted today.

Welcome! One good thing is that they are prohibited in your state. I am in New York and they are prohibited there as well. I think it works in your favor. Listen to Shazz and post what you owe. It is a process of emailing, faxing, and calling but it can be done. One step at a time. One thing that is important though, is to notify the processors once you start the ball rolling. Any questions you have can be answered as you go along. Keep us posted.

Good Evening, I live in NC and payday loans are illegal as well. The collection agency is using a tactic that is illegal. You would need to contact the FTC, BBB, Your state's AG and their state AG's office as well. Hang in there, it is a hard fight but once you get free you will be free indeed.

I would like some direction on how this works and any help you all would give this newbee would be so appreciated. My name is Sherry Lynn and I live in Ohio and my money problems are giving me an ulcer (for real, per doc.). Here it is:
I have a 500 loan with a store front. I would like to ask for the EPP and pay them back a bit at a time. I would like to know more about this or could someone point me in the right direction?
I really appreciate this site! Just found it this evening and feel like it is already helped by just the encourgement you give here! Thanks so much.
