Hello there! I have six internet payday loans and I live in the state of Maryland. The following are the six loans: Mynextdaycash, Cashnetusa (which is a CSO), Sparkcash, Crestwoodmktg (Ashland), Sanpoint Capital and Blackcardloan. I am not sure where to even start. I was going to start the program with Langhorne Debt Solutions, but checked them on the BBB and found out that they have an F rating and are not licensed. I am not even sure if this is the best way to go. I need help! I am receiving threatning phone calls on a daily basis (even on sundays), and I am not sure what's the best thing to do. I recently opened up another bank acct at another bank, and am afraid they might find out about that acct and begin to take that. I have two young children and I am a single mother. Someone please help!

Thanks!

You should tell your creditors that under the Federal Fair Debt Collections Act they are prohibited from calling you outside of business hours. If they continue, then file a complaint with your state's department of finance.
If your creditors take you to court, they can and will find out about all of your assets including bank accounts. They cannot take money out of your account without your permission or a court order.

Payday loans are prohibited in your state, see the link below:
http://www.debtconsolidationcare.com...ad.php?t=70274

CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT! You will need to make payment arrangements with the CSO's, ask for an extended payment plan and tell them you needed to close your account because of fraudulant activity, just a suggestion, you can say what you want. Anyway, CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with unlicensed lenders.

My acct is now negative a thousand something due to the companies trying to debit the amts owed. They even changed the amounts, and when I contacted the bank on 5 different occasions, I was told that they could not close the acct until it was paid in full because payday loans are authorized transactions. Then, they told me that it would be 90 to 120 days before the bank closes the acct. The acct has been negative since the end of March. Should I go to the bank in person and explain that I need to close the acct due to fraudulent activity, even when they have informed me that they could not close the acct? I thank you for the link on how to deal with the other creditors!

Go to your bank and speak directly with the branch manager (no one else will do), tell them that payday loans are prohibited in your state and you are planning to make other payment arrangements with these lenders but you fear they will compromise your personal information if you do not either place a hard debit block on your account, or close it completely. Print out and take your payday loan laws with you, to the bank. While some of these are CSO's, the others are NOT and will not stop debiting your account, even if you revoke their right to do so, because they are nothing more than criminals and are breaking the law by extending loans in the state of MD. Please read the thread at the link I gave you above, it will guide you step by step on how to proceed with this very situation.

Also, ask them to remove some of the charges and fees, just explain the situation.

Yeah....if you on several occasions told this bank to close the account and they refused..THEY have the problem. Firstly they should be refunding the debited amounts to the account and they should also be taking off the fees. Write a LOT of letters...even go to your state or federal banking authority.
