Mass Complaint

Has anyone ever assembled a large group of people to all make a complaint to an AG's office collectively at one time. I would imagine that if we had a complaint that listed 100 people they would be much more inclined to take some serious action against the company. I would think that we could choose the worst online illegal lender and do that. You always see the same company names over and over again on these boards. Any thoughts on this??

I definately agree with the fact that there is strength in numbers--and my only advice would be to make the mass complaint with residents of the same state, which would make that state's AG sit up and take notice.

Yes, it seems that way. Even in some complaints that actually make it to court etc. a lot of times you will see maybe one or two residents of that state but then there will be another 50 or so people from other states. It would probably also be a good idea to find people in a state that has a very willing AG that has already gone after these types of companies. There has to be some way to put them out of business.

This is a good idea...but are you talking about a collection agency or a internet payday loan company?
There are lots of collection agencies on here that should be permanently put out of business...but most complaints are from different states. It would be good if there was one agency that would get the petition from people nationwide.

I was actually talking about an illegal payday loan company, but the same tactic could be used for collection agencies. Reading these forums you always see the same company names popping up over and over again, both payday and collection. There is a big group of people that could have complaints here on this site so why not band together and really go after them with a big number of people.
