Default URGENT NEED - BEGGING FOR HELP

I am sorry to keep posting but now I have an urgent need. The bank "supposedly" froze our account BUT the loan payments went through.
We are now $2200 in deficit between the payments and the bank fees.
The manager said she can reimburse the fees but can't do anything about the payments.
I have aÂ*knot in my stomach and I'm shaking. We simply can't afford this ! We are behind on everything because of these "loans". And they have been paid for many times over.
Can someone/anyone tell me what I can do ?
I am in Massachusetts and these types of loans are ILLEGAL.
Thank You

I would call the corporate of that bank.
Â*
If they said it was frozen then why did the ACH transactions go through.
Â*
What bank do you have? If you say BoA I am going to scream!

No, I didn't revoke the ACH rights, I'm confused as to how you do that. Could someone please explain.
I have Sovereign Bank, NE. Is that an option, to call the corporate office. Can they help us ?

What I have here is the Massachusetts Division of Banks. Would that be the same as, Office of Controller Currency ?

Massachusetts Division of Banksis your state regulators.. wouldn't help to file a complaint w/ them as well.
Just google Office of Controller currency should be the first link when it comes up

What you have where? I am confused.

You need to contact your bank and dispute the charges.

Nohigal, beli2005 is right. I was wondering if MA Div. of Banks was the same as Office of Controller Currency. i believe I've got it straight now.
Nohigal, I did contact Sovereign Bank at the number you provided (thank you).
They gave me 2 options: put stop payments on all the Payday loans or file an affidavit of unauthorized charges.
Does this sound right to you ?

Yes.
Â*
Can you do both. You want to block further ACH withdrawls BUT you also want the ACH withdrawls that went through after they said it wasÂ*frozen refunded to you.

Nohigal, I'll do both. I'll be going to the bank in the morning.
Just one thing. The bank keeps bringing up how we took out these loans, will they allow me to fill out an affidavit of unauthorized charges ?
And do you know if will actually work (the "affadavit")?

Fashion, my state credit union gal said the same thing to me when I found out 500 fastcash was illegal in the state of WI. I complained to her supervisor and filled out a complaint. She kept saying that "Well you applied for the loan by hitting submit you agree to the terms etc etc" and wouldn't let me fill out the <span class="postbody">affidavit. I complainted and she lost

beli2005, that's good to hear.
I'm just so depressed right now, we simply cannot afford $2200, that was the whole reason for starting this (especially once I found out what they're doing is illegal). I feel so used, they got away with it, again. And it's costing us our rent money, grocery money, bill money, you name it.
I wish I could take some of you with me for moral support.
Thanks again for everyone's help and advice.

I hope it goes well today.
Â*
If they bring up the fact that you took out the loan make it known that yes you did that BUT you have paid back what you owe them but they are continuing to take out money.
Â*
Tell them that you have tried numerousÂ*times to contact them with no luck and that your extra research to try and locate them brought you to the fact that they are illegal/unlicensed.
Â*
We will be there with you today in spirit. We have all had to go to our banks and credit unions and do the same thing at one point. We know how scary and intimidating it can be. Just take a deep breath and stand your ground. You have rights.
Â*
I would demand that they reverse the ACH withdrawls and any NSF Fees since they told you the account was frozen.
Â*
Good Luck and let us know how it went.
