Some relief finally

I have been posting on here for a few months. I got myself into a bad situation with 3 pdls. Two legal and one illegal with MCN.

In any case, I had taken out a $1000 and paid $824 in fees. I finally called them today and asked to talk to a supervisor. I basically said, I found out recently that you guys are operating illegally and I want to be responsible for the principle only. He said you have to pay what you legally owe us plus fines etc. I said listen, I am not trying to get out of what I owe you, but when I find out that your company is charging outrages fines and using people, I don't think I owe you more than a dime. So he said when can you pay the remainder $175. I said TODAY! So I am sending them a money gram today and they are going to mark my account PIF and I can't borrow from them ever again. Which I will NEVER borrow from a PDL ever again.

I just want to take a moment to tell all of you on this board, hang in there. I have been in PDL hell for a year and I still have 2 more to pay off but there is hope. Everyone on this board has been so helpful and I can't thank you all enough for all of your advice. I would have not been able to this without your help.

If any of you out there have an illegal PDL call them and be stern and get out of it immediately.

That is wonderful news, did they happen to send this in a written form so they can't come back to you at a later date? I am just concerned that they may do this, do you have that person's name, if so contact them again and get this agreement in writing to keep for you records.
